This feeder will service any animal 4' or larger, however it is specifically designed for large animals such as horses, horned cattle, exotic animals or even buffalo.  The steel frame is made entirely of heavy wall 2 1/2" round steel.  It will hold bales up to 1,500 pounds as well as feed and silage.   Gate swings either way or can be removed.  The basket keeps the hay funneling toward the center so the livestock must continuously reach for it, thus resulting in a reported 25% hay savings.
